Utilizing the National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) curriculum, the organization offers evidence-based strategies to help participants reduce their risk of developing type 2 diabetes and improve their overall health. The program is grounded in CDC-approved guidelines ensuring effective and scientifically-backed interventions for better health outcomes.

NOVA National DPP  is your path to lasting lifestyle change

Learn how to lose weight, eat healthier, stay active, and reduce your risk of developing Type 2 diabetes with support and proven strategies.


 Program Schedule


  • Phase      1: 1‑hour weekly sessions for 4 months
  • Phase      2: 1‑hour every other week sessions for 2 months
  • Phase      3: 1‑

  • In-person sessions (groups of 15-20 participants per cohort)
  • Virtual (live online) options
  • Hybrid – mix it up with some in-person & some online sessions 

We can come to your location for offer classes if you have more than 10 participants committed to the year long program.

Diabetes self-Management Education and Support, (DSMES)

  DSMES services help you learn the skills and 7 key self-care behaviors you need to manage your health to prevent or delay diabetes complications. 

  • Healthy eating
  • Being active
  • Taking medicine as prescribed.
  • Monitoring your blood sugar levels, activity, and eating habits.
  • Reducing risks to lower the chances of diabetes complications.
  • Healthy co
